WHAT I AM GOOD AT

Languages

Languages are one of my strong suites. I was raised bilingually, so I have been learning Italian from an early age. Today I am fluent in oral and written German, Italian, English, and French. I am currently learning Spanish and have been told that I am quickly learning. My job in an international call center has taught me to switch instantly between languages.

Aside from that I have working knowledge in Classical and Medieval Latin, and a basic knowledge of Old English, Middle French, and Suetterlin.

Research

I consider myself efficient in obtaining information. Not only can I do research in five languages and therefore easily look into publications from a variety of countries and cultures, but I’m also capable of differentiating between reliable and unreliable sources, verifying information, and I know how science and academic debate work. My broad general knowledge and working skills in many social, cultural, economic, natural and technical sciences allow me to perceive topics from many different points of view.

Having studied historical methods, I know how to familiarize myself with a topic that is completely strange to me.

WHAT I AM NOT THAT GOOD AT

Being visual

I am not a very visual kind of person. This is why this website does not contain many colors, this is why I fail at interior decoration, and this is also why my friends tell me that I don't take good pictures. I have been writing for some years and making music for the most part of my life, and I convert emotions and information through musical notes or the written or spoken word, but not through visual transportation.
